2005 U.S. Open

Chappy was in Las Vegas to help kick off the 2006 racing season. He encouraged everyone to "check their filters" at the chapel service after the Rider's Meeting on Friday and was able to hang out with lots of the folks at the race. One of the things he does on a regular basis during race weekends is hold marriage counseling sessions for couples he is going to marry, and the Vegas weekend was no exception.

"Thank You" Brunch
Chappy wanted to thank everyone who has supported his ministry, and he did it in style by inviting them to a continental brunch in the pits at MGM Grand on Saturday morning, October 8th. Complete with a cascading fruit display and lots of other foods and juices, many of the riders, mechanics, clear channel employees, and others enjoyed a great time of food and fellowship.

Over the last 10 years, Steve "Chappy" Hudson has been Race Chaplain at the Motocross and Supercross Nationals held all across the country. He holds prayer meetings/chapel services at all the races, offers inspirational advice and fellowship through personal relationships, and he marries just about everyone in the MX world.

Steve has recently joined forces with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. This association between FCA and his SXMX Ministry will enable him to broaden his ministry and provide follow-through opportunities to local race attendees through the broad FCA network.
